So there are a few questions about this grand play of Zariel’s and how it might be attempted again in Baldur’s Gate. Thavius Kreeg is one of the examples where the changes make logical sense (especially to lore) but yet another zarelite cultist rather than the one that actually doomed the city feels less interesting to play with while also somewhat feeling like it's missing out on a chance to use the themes of Choices, Deals, Sacrifice and Redemption.
